Performance and Power
The Kuga is available in a range of efficient petrol and diesel engines. The 2.0 TDCi (140PS) FWD six-speed engine offers excellent fuel consumption of 53.3 mpg on a combined cycle and only 139g/km of CO2. Ford Auto-Start Stop technology uses up to 10% less fuel by switching off the engine when the car is stationary and restarts when you are ready to move – ideal for town driving (only available with the 1.6L EcoBoost 150PS engine).
Struggling to park is a thing of the past with Active Park Assist. The new Kuga can steer itself into spaces less than a metre longer than it is. Simply control the accelerator, gears and brakes whilst the car does the rest. Add to this a Rear View Camera showing what is behind when the reverse gear is selected. With intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD), the Kuga reacts to the road around it adjusting the power to individual wheels to improve grip.
To enhance your driving experience whether in town or off-road, the Kuga is full of smart technology and features. The tailgate can open and close even when your hands are full. Simply move your foot under the rear bumper to active it. With Ford KeyFree entry you no longer have to hunt in your bag or pocket to open your car and once inside it starts by simply pressing the Ford Power Starter Button. Also, you will never fill your car with the wrong fuel again as Ford Easy-Fuel prevents the wrong nozzle being used.
With a spacious cabin and comfortable seating for up to five adults, the new Ford Kuga has flexible seating that can be folded flat to maximise load space in the two seat mode. Set different temperatures for your front passenger using Dual-Zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control - no more arguments over what the agreed temperature is.
Opt for an openable panorama roof that lets natural light in making the Kuga feel even more spacious and giving passengers a great view of the scenery and sky outside. With its solar reflective coating you won’t feel too hot, but if needed virtually all of the sun rays can be kept out with the internal power blind.
